What is Strange Trails?

Strange Trails is a fictional wilderness area where alien visitors hike, camp, observe humans, and occasionally misunderstand basic outdoor rules. Our shirts and posters are designed like field gear from that world — part outdoor humor, part UFO folklore, part campfire mystery.

Seventy Years of Unexplained Encounters

In 1947, an unusual weather balloon — or something else entirely — was recovered in the remote northwest corner of what would later become the Strange Trails Wilderness Area. The incident was officially classified. Local rangers began documenting a pattern of unexplained phenomena.

Strange lights over the ridgelines. Unusual trail markings. The occasional hiker who swore they saw something watching from the treeline. The Forest Service treated each report with the same deadpan professionalism they applied to bear sightings.

Today, Strange Trails is a protected region — officially documented, unofficially unbelievable. Our gear is designed for anyone who walks these trails.
