The map is open. The compass is set. The canyon drops away into amber river light below. And somewhere on the far rim, three more of them are already on the switchback trail heading down.
This is not your trailhead. This is theirs.
Hike Where Aliens Hike — the Strange Trails Wilderness Area canyon poster captures the moment two alien hikers compare notes at the canyon rim at dusk, three UFOs in loose formation crossing a violet and burnt orange sky above, crescent moon low on the horizon, a river winding through the canyon floor far below. One alien is geared up and ready — full pack, trekking poles, hiking boots. The other is pointing the way, because out here they know every trail by memory. They've been coming here longer than the maps have existed.

From Concept to Field Issue
Illustration & Design
Every badge, print, and patch begins as hand-drawn artwork in our studio. We reference vintage National Parks Service documentation, topographic maps, and field sketches from actual wilderness surveys.
Material Selection
We test blanks from multiple manufacturers against field conditions: wash cycles, UV exposure, abrasion from pack straps, and temperature extremes. Only materials that survive our standards become part of the catalog.
On-Demand Production
Each order is printed individually in our Pacific Northwest facility. This eliminates overproduction waste and ensures every piece receives individual quality inspection before packing.
Field Verification
Selected items are issued to our volunteer field team for real-world testing. Feedback from actual wilderness observation posts informs updates to sizing, fabric weight, and print placement.
All cotton blanks are sourced from manufacturers certified under the Better Cotton Initiative. Water-based screen print inks eliminate PVC and phthalates. Archival poster papers are FSC-certified and acid-free.
